Off to the great white north

This week I am traveling to Anchorage, AK to take pictures for ESPN the Magazine at the Six Days in the Dome multi day track event. Sounds awesome. Only drawback is that I will be indoors for most of the time.

Wow what a trip!

Last year when Luis Escobar came out to the War Eagle Trail Races and told me I needed to come to his event in California I said "Sure sounds like fun."  Well little did I know it was going to be like super cool, ultra running festival, camping, chillin out with old friends, drinking beer, listening to heavy metal mariachi FUN!  But it was all that.  As described by one Patrick Sweeney "Shenaniganza!"  it was!  

To sum is all up it was a don't miss race for next year!!

Packing my camera bag for the first adventure of the summer!

    I am super excited to be packing for my first photography adventure of the summer, The Born to Run Ultra Marathons in Los Olivios, California. My friend Luis Escobar invited me to his super popular event held this weekend in the Central Coast of California.  This event is going to be wild!  There are races of all distances and styles, including a real BEER MILE!!!  Talk about fun!  Check out these awards for the Beer Mile.

Other amenities include a splash zone!

Sooooo, I hope I have some pictures to publish when I get back.  Wait there are some running races along with all this craziness.  I will keep you updated here as the weekend progresses.

This blog is about my Photographic Journeys to the places I get to travel to and experience. 

I am currently getting ready for a summer full of travel to far off places to take pictures for different people and races.  I thought it would be fun to use a blog to keep up with those pictures and travels.  I promise nothing more than cool pictures and some of my rambling.  I will be traveling a good bit so I hope to keep this blog moving regularly.
